Built along the road to Abbiategrasso, is a complex of university halls of residence which can accommodate 136 beds in 120 single rooms and 8 double rooms, as well as rector and keeper appartments, auditorium and common services. The setting of plans and volumes is structured around a central spine, aligned with the squared stair towers, in which converge the building blocks called "islands", self-sufficient units composed of 4 single bedrooms and a common space which includes living room and kitchen with terrace.
Architecturally, the complex is characterized by walls surface with pre-colored plaster and exposed bricks and by the aluminum turquoise roof. The expansion project includes approximately 3,700 square meters for 83 additional accommodations.
